Tolkien links and more

Just added some links to the blog. Check out the NY Times archive on Tolkien; the articles go all the way back to the first printing of the Hobbit. You can even hear J.R.R. himself reading selections from the LOTR trilogy! Enjoy.

Wonderful to hear Tolkien's own voice. Certainly, he is quite unmistakably British. I very much like the quality of his voice and his rhythm when reading the poems that he himself wrote. If only I could hear him read it live...now that would be something...

If you enjoy writing and stories like Lord of the Rings, may I suggest another title to try? "Outcasts of Skagaray" by Andrew Clarke is Christian allegory in a fantasy form. For sample chapters please check www.threeswans.com.au
